Terms of Use
Last updated: October 7, 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Swicy mobile application, website, and related services. By creating an account or using Swicy, you agree to these Terms to the extent applicable law permits. The Privacy Policy describes how personal information is processed and is a privacy notice; accepting these Terms or acknowledging that notice is not consent to optional or sensitive-data processing. If applicable law requires consent for a particular use, that consent must be requested separately. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Swicy.
2. Who operates Swicy
Swicy is currently operated by Bugrahan Gulculer as an individual, not through a company. Contact and postal area: Yildizevler, Cankaya, Ankara 06550, Turkey; support@swicy.app. Swicy is intended for users worldwide, subject to availability and the laws that apply where the service is offered and used.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Swicy account. By using Swicy, you represent that you meet this requirement and have legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
4. Your account
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and authentication methods.
- You may not impersonate another person, create accounts for abusive or fraudulent purposes, or interfere with another user’s account.
- If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@swicy.app promptly.
5. What Swicy provides
Swicy is a general wellness and nutrition service that helps users log meals, review nutrition estimates, record supported measurements and check-ins, receive summaries and insights, optionally connect Apple Health, and interact with AI-assisted features. Features may change, be added, removed, limited, or made available only on particular platforms or subscription plans.
6. AI-generated content and estimates
- Swicy uses AI and automated systems to analyze meal photos or text, transcribe voice input, estimate nutrition information, generate conversational responses, summarize patterns, and personalize certain experiences.
- AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading. Food recognition, portion size, calories, macronutrients, and similar values are estimates, not laboratory measurements.
- You are responsible for reviewing important outputs before relying on them. User edits and corrections should take priority over automated estimates where the product allows editing.
- Swicy does not guarantee that AI-generated content is error-free, complete, current, or suitable for a particular medical, dietary, or safety purpose.
7. Health and nutrition disclaimer
- Swicy is not a medical device, healthcare provider, doctor, dietitian, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical advice.
- Swicy does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage disease and must not be used to make emergency or urgent medical decisions.
- Do not rely on Swicy to determine whether a food is safe for an allergy, intolerance, medication interaction, pregnancy-related restriction, or other medical requirement.
- If you have a medical condition, history of disordered eating, special dietary requirement, or other health concern, seek guidance from an appropriately qualified professional before acting on nutrition or health information.
- If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services instead of using Swicy.
8. Apple Health
- Apple Health integration is optional and requires your explicit authorization through Apple’s permission controls.
- Swicy’s current Apple Health access is read-only. Swicy does not write values to Apple Health.
- Availability, completeness, and accuracy of Apple Health information depend on your devices, sources, permissions, and Apple’s platform behavior.
- Disconnecting Apple Health stops future Swicy synchronization and deletes imported Apple Health daily summaries from Swicy’s server, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Apple Health information is not used by Swicy for advertising, marketing, data brokerage, or unrelated profiling.
9. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit to Swicy, such as meal photos, descriptions, notes, chat messages, and other user-provided material. You grant Swicy a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, transform, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Swicy service to you, including through service providers described in the Privacy Policy. This license ends when the content is deleted from Swicy’s systems, except for copies or records that must lawfully be retained or were already incorporated into records that are not silently rewritten.
10. Personalization and memory
Swicy may use information from your profile and interactions, such as recurring foods or corrections, to personalize later features. This information is personal data and is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. You may contact support@swicy.app about a request concerning your information.
11. Acceptable use
- Use Swicy only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, source code, infrastructure, or non-public data.
- Do not probe, disrupt, overload, scrape at abusive scale, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, or interfere with Swicy’s security or operation.
- Do not upload unlawful content, malware, content that infringes third-party rights, or content designed to abuse, deceive, or harm other users or the service.
- Do not use Swicy or its outputs to build an unlawful medical service, to misrepresent AI output as professional medical advice, or for any purpose that violates applicable law.
12. Subscriptions and purchases
- Swicy may offer monthly, yearly, trial, promotional, or other subscription options. The exact product name, duration, price, included features, and trial terms shown in the App Store and purchase screen at the time of purchase control.
- For iOS purchases, Apple processes payment through your Apple ID. Swicy does not receive your full payment-card details from Apple.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with the terms shown by Apple. Apple generally charges renewal within the period disclosed in the App Store purchase flow.
- You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription through your Apple account subscription settings. Deleting your Swicy account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription.
- Swicy supports restoring eligible Apple purchases. Restoring a purchase after deleting a Swicy account may restore entitlement but does not restore deleted Swicy account data.
- Prices, taxes, available plans, and features may vary by country and may change. Where required, Apple or Swicy will provide notice of applicable changes.
13. Trials, cancellation, and refunds
If a free or discounted trial is offered, the duration and renewal terms will be shown before purchase. Unless otherwise required by law or Apple policy, cancellation stops future renewal but does not retroactively refund an already completed billing period. Refund requests for purchases processed by Apple are generally handled under Apple’s refund rules and processes. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how Swicy collects, uses, shares, stores, transfers, and deletes personal information, including nutrition, AI, Apple Health, account, and subscription information. The Privacy Policy is available at https://swicy.app/en/privacy-policy.
Privacy Policy: https://swicy.app/en/privacy-policy
15. Account deletion
You may request account deletion through the in-app controls. The request starts an account-deletion process; processing may take time, and some records or provider-held copies may remain as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your Swicy account does not cancel an active App Store subscription; manage that subscription separately through Apple.
16. Intellectual property
Except for user content and third-party materials, Swicy, its software, branding, design, text, graphics, product features, and other service content are owned by or licensed to the Swicy operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Swicy for its intended purpose. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
17. Third-party services
Swicy depends on third-party platforms and providers, which may include Apple, Firebase/Google, cloud infrastructure, OpenAI or another configured AI provider, Expo, email, analytics, diagnostics, and other operational services. Their availability and behavior are partly outside Swicy’s control. Your use of third-party platform features may also be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy rules.
18. Service availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may modify, suspend, restrict, discontinue, or replace features for security, maintenance, legal, technical, or product reasons. Where a material change affects a paid service or your legal rights, we will provide notice where required.
19. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect Swicy or its users, comply with law, address fraud or security risk, or respond to a material breach of these Terms. You may stop using Swicy at any time and may request account deletion through the in-app controls. Termination does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple.
20. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Swicy is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim warranties that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that AI or nutrition outputs will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
21. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Swicy operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or purely economic losses arising from your use of or inability to use Swicy, including losses caused by reliance on AI-generated or estimated nutrition information. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including applicable mandatory consumer protections.
22. Mandatory consumer rights
You may have rights under consumer, privacy, digital-services, or other mandatory laws in the country where you live. These Terms do not waive or limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived or limited. If a provision conflicts with mandatory law, that law controls to the extent of the conflict.
23. Apple-specific terms
- For the iOS version, these Terms are between you and the Swicy operator, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for providing or supporting Swicy except as required by applicable platform rules.
- Your use of the iOS app is also subject to applicable App Store terms and, where selected in App Store Connect, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
- Apple and its subsidiaries may be third-party beneficiaries of the applicable end-user license terms and may enforce those terms as permitted by them.
- Apple Standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

24. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of TĂĽrkiye, without depriving you of mandatory protections that apply under the law of your country of residence. Any court jurisdiction or dispute forum will be determined in accordance with applicable mandatory law. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent protective relief where legally available.
25. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Swicy or applicable law changes. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide notice where applicable law requires it. Updated Terms apply as permitted by the law that applies to you.
